ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN

Based on a global survey,

nearly one third of adults do not know what antimicrobial resistance (AMR) means.1 People may have heard the term ‘AMR’, but don’t realise how it could impact their own lives and healthcare choices (and those of their loved ones). Despite its far-reaching consequences, AMR might not be something we think about day-to-day.

Through this campaign, bioMérieux, Pfizer, the UK Sepsis Trust, Sepsis Alliance and Instituto Latino Americano de Sepse (ILAS) want to raise awareness of AMR and its impact on all of us. Its focus is on appropriate use of antibiotics – with just three simple steps, every single one of us can help prevent AMR and protect our loved ones and the future of our healthcare systems.
